What started as a project for a college screen-printing class turned into the beginning of a new brand. Horse With No Name, inspired by the folk-rock band America, embodies individuality and freedom, the spirit of forging your own path.

Through this project, I discovered not only how to bring my screen-printing skills to life but also how to express a deeper creative vision.

Horse With No Name

I organized a studio shoot for the brand, with photography and set styling. This low-budget shoot came together with just a projector, clothespins, and yarn.

For the art direction, I wanted to emphasize a Western atmosphere. The western plains projected in the background set the scene, while yarn was styled into a barbed-wire chain for added detail. On closer look, stainless steel shelving and deep shadows contribute to a sense of manufactured toughness, tying the aesthetic together.
